A real rocker will usually have real rocker posters on their walls and that is a fitting tribute to the groups and musicians that make the music that make the whole world rock. Movies and music are the reasons why people started buying posters in the first place so it is only fitting that part of the collection of any real rock fan is some posters to display their allegiance to one group or another or to just have that concert experience plastered on their wall to look at every day. Most people that get into real rock posters will usually buy the very huge posters that can take up half of a wall because there is just something about that bigger than life rock star looking down on you from the depths of your wall that make you want to emulate them and be like them.

That may not be such a great idea in all cases especially if you have Rolling Stones posters on your walls considering the legal history of the Stones but it is always a good idea to have heroes and putting your heroes up on your wall is always a very very good idea indeed.

For the real hard rock fan there is always a few Metallica posters for the wall or even the grand daddies of hard rock with a few Led Zeppelin posters. You can display the occasional Queen poster to show your support for one of the greatest front men to ever grace a rock stage in Freddy Mercury. Jon Bon Jovi posters are always popular with the rock crowd or you can order a Bon Jovi poster with the whole band on it and not just Jon Bon Jovi. If you wanted to remember the guys that put the Grunge genre on the map you can buy a Nirvana poster and place that proudly on your wall. One of the more popular Nirvana posters is that of the first album cover for the album Nevermind.

For some reason people never seem to get tired of seeing that album cover and just the picture alone of the baby chasing the dollar on a fish hook underwater just screams Nirvana even if the band's name is no where to be seen on the poster.

One of the more influential hard rock bands from the 1980's and 1990's is U2 and with their break through movie Rattle And Hum and their hugely successful album The Joshua Tree U2 set out to conquer the world and was very successful at it. U2 posters were a hot item in the 1980's and 1990's especially the movie poster for Rattle And Hum but you can purchase a U2 poster with just about any album cover on it and for just about any period in the band's career. U2 were a hugely influential band for their time and they are still filling arenas and stadiums all over the world with fans eager to take in their unique brand of music. A fitting tribute to a band like U2 is a little space on your wall for one of their posters to be proudly displayed.
