On the heels of Elvis Presley and other famous rock and blues musicians from the United States came four young men from Liverpool, England who started their careers emulating the American blues artists that everyone else had already fallen in love with. When the Beatles started they were a rhythm and blues cover band playing the three chord favorites that everyone wanted to hear and they played them so well that there started to be lines around the corner just to hear them play.

The Beatles had a history filled with facts and things that not many people know and other things that a lot of people know but in the end they made the ultimate impact on rock and roll as they are often credited with being the band that really got the notion of the rock band off the ground. In their wake came bands such as the Kinks, the Dave Clark 5, and the Rolling Stones and in those days every band that came out was judged by how they compared with the Beatles.

The Beatles poster collection can be a pretty vast one as many of their album covers became the Beatles poster of choice and very famous ones at that. The cover for the Abbey Road album was the poster you would buy if you were looking to purchase a Beatles poster and the Beatles posters soon became collectors items all over the world. It did not take long for individual Beatles to start selling their posters as well.

John Lennon posters and Paul McCartney posters were the most popular and are still very popular to this day. Today you can see someone heading into a music store to buy a Paul McCartney poster or buy a Lennon poster and hang them on their wall as a tribute to two of the greatest musicians ever in rock music and arguably the greatest rock writing duo of all time. But they could not do it themselves.

The Beatles sound was not complete without George Harrison and Ringo Starr and you should include George Harrison posters and Ringo Starr posters in your collection along with all of your other Beatles posters. If you order a Starr poster maybe you could get one of his movie posters as well as Ringo Starr is known for the more eclectic movies he has starred in over his career. But whatever you do you should always remember that the Beatles were a unit of four and as great as the songwriting duo of John Lennon and Paul McCartney was they could not get that classic Beatles sound without George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

To this day the Beatles are still considered one of the greatest bands to every play in the rock and roll genre and they are also called the most influential band ever. To many people, if there had been no Beatles there may not have been rock and roll and that in and of itself is enough reason to put a Beatles poster on your wall if you are a fan of rock and roll.
